How to make a price list
- Start from a preset — salon, services or rental — or from a blank sheet.
- Edit the sections and services. Prices accept 8, 8.50 or 8,50; put durations in the name: '½ hour', 'full day'.
- Choose a design and accent colour. Four typographic templates, all print-tested on A4.
- Print or save as PDF. The free sheet carries a small credit line; confirming an email removes it.
- Optional: import it into a free account and the list lives behind a permanent QR code — price changes stop meaning reprints.
Why not just use a template file?
A downloaded template is a layout you now maintain. Add one service and the rows push the footer onto page two; change a price and you are hunting through text boxes. Here the structure is the data — sections, services, prices — and the layout takes care of itself. When you add your twelfth service, the sheet still looks like the preset did.
Three starting points, one blank sheet
- Salon — cut & style, colour, treatments. Works as-is for barbers, nails, lashes and spas.
- Services — hourly rates, one-off jobs and extras, seeded as a cleaning firm. Works for garages, gardeners, repairs and callouts.
- Rental — kayaks and bikes by the hour, half day and full day, with deposits and extras. Works for any hire counter.

Print it, or stop reprinting it altogether
The sheet you build here prints to A4, free. But the reason this tool exists: the same list can live behind a permanent QR code, where a price change is an edit from your phone rather than a reprint. The printed code never changes — laminate it once, and the January price rise takes thirty seconds instead of a trip to the print shop.
Your data stays yours
The draft lives in your browser's local storage, not on a server. Printing happens on your device. Nothing you type here is uploaded unless you later choose to import the list into a free account.

Is the price list maker really free?
Yes — building and printing costs nothing and needs no account. The printed sheet carries a small credit line; confirming your email removes it. A live version behind a QR code is free for one list.
I run a salon, not a restaurant. Is this for me?
Yes. The engine behind this tool powers restaurant menus, but a price list is the same structure — sections, items, prices — and the salon, services and rental presets start you with realistic content for your trade, with no food vocabulary on the sheet.
Can I put durations on services?
Put them in the service name — '½ hour', 'half day', 'per visit' — exactly as the presets do. Each duration is its own line with its own price, which is also how customers read a board.
Can I import a price list I already have?
The free tool starts from a preset or a blank sheet. If you create a free account, you can photograph your existing printed list or upload its PDF and the items and prices are drafted for you to correct.
What paper size does it print?
A4, from your browser's print dialog — choose a printer or 'Save as PDF'. Print at 100%, not 'fit to page'.
What happens to my draft if I close the tab?
It is saved in your browser and restored when you come back on the same device. It is not synced anywhere — export or import it into an account if you need it to survive a device change.
